We thought it might be fun to do a high school yearbook style superlatives post. A lot of these numbers and rankings are purely for our own benefit, but they may be entertaining to others.
While we were traveling, we considered it would be entertaining to rate the countries, food, etc. at the end of our trip. I kept incredibly detailed notes on what we were spending and where we stayed. I carried around a little notebook everywhere we went and wrote down every single cent that we spent.
I’m not kidding, there are entries that say “$0.42- homeless person.” For this reason, I can confidently say we spent exactly $4.10 on water in Gibraltar. And that we spent more on food than accommodation while in Europe. These detailed notes have made it possible to tally up what we spent where, and our opinions on issues such as food and beer.
