First of all, thank you to Emily for featuring the blog on Million Mile Secrets. Welcome to ItchyFeets!
We are passionate about travel, visiting places as cheaply as possible, beer, and coffee. ItchyFeets combines these interests.

ItchyFeets is a way for Paul and I to chronicle our trips and provide tips about places we’ve visited. We’ve traveled to some out of the way spots, and we hope to inspire others to do the same. And if they’re not able to visit, we at least hope to portray the essence of a region, providing a glimpse into an otherwise foreign city or way of life.

By writing only one post per city, we really focus on the feel of a place, relaying what we perceived to be most vital.
We also aim to be forthcoming about the emotional highs and lows that can occur during travel, especially long term travel.
Our trips are generally a blend of budget and luxury travel.

We have stayed in exclusive resorts and $4 hostels in the same week. A lot of the places we visit are off the beaten track, and thus we aren’t always able use hotel points to stay in fancy accommodation. Many times we elect to stay in cheap, locally run guest houses, but then treat ourselves to an upscale hotel at the end of a trip, if there is one we can book with points.
There are so many blogs focused on credit cards and the best way to use miles, that we don’t want to be redundant, explaining how to redeem points, when someone else has probably written it already. Rather, we show how we were able to use points and miles to take specific trips, and which cards we used to accomplish them.
You may notice that I have a deep obsession with iced coffee, and specifically Starbucks. It can be quite irksome to Paul, as I will sometimes travel to places purely to get the coffee I crave. But it can also make for some amusing stories.

We are avid beer drinkers, rating beers all over the world. At the end of each post, our preferred beer from that place is listed.

So far, it seems cold countries produce the best beer, but we are happily exploring tropical locations as well, searching for good brews.
There are so many places to see. As our ability to travel (thanks to miles and points) increases, so does our wanderlust. Our restless feet hope to continue exploring the world, bringing us to ever new locations.
